About Tablelands Trail

The Tablelands Trail traverses one of the world's few accessible exposures of Earth's mantle, creating a barren, rust-coloured landscape unlike anything else in Canada. The contrast between the ochre peridotite and surrounding green forest is visually striking and scientifically remarkable. Visiting the visitor centre beforehand greatly enriches the experience.
